Satutik Rahayu, S830906011.2006.” The Effect of Cooperative Learning Model Type STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) with Gu ided Inquiry Method and Experiment Observed From Scientific Attitude” (The Case Study on Basic Electronic Learning I in the field of study of Diode Semiconductor of the third semester students year 2007/2008 STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong NTB). Thesis:
The purposes of the research are : 1) to know whether there is any effect between the using of STAD cooperative learning method and guided inquiry method and experiment toward student achievement at cognitive and psychomotor aspects, 2) to investigate whether there is any different scientific attitude between the high and low category toward student achievement at cognitive aspect and psychomotor aspect, to examine whether there is any interaction between the influence of STAD cooperative learning model through the guided inquiry method and the experiment with the scientific attitude toward students learning achievement at cognitive and psychomotor aspects.
The research is conducted on November 2006 until September 2007, with the population consisting the third semester students of Physics Education Major of STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong, uses experiment method and anava factorial design 2 x 2 taken in simple random sampling by lottery.
The technique of collecting data uses closed questionnaire which the students’ cognitive aspect data are checked by multiple-choice test and the psychomotor aspect data are checked by observation. Instrument validity is tested to investigate cognitive aspect by using biserial point correlation coefficient, scientific attitude instrument uses product moment technique, and while questionnaire reability uses alpha formula, acquired r11 = 0,30 and cognitive aspect reability acquired r11 = 0,69. The technique of analysis data is variance analysis (anava) 2 x 2.
The result of the data analysis based on 5 % level signification and Ftabel= 4,00 and find that: 1) students achievement cognitive aspect data Fcount = 4,35 and while psychomotor aspect Fcount = 4,07 means that STAD cooperative learning model with guided inquiry method give more influence than experiment method, 2) scientific attitude student data Fcount = 5,75 and while psychomotor aspect Fcount = 5,70 means high scientific attitude give more influence that low scientific attitude, 3) interaction impact test showing Fcount = 0,20 for cognitive aspects and psychomotor aspects test Fcount = 0,49 means that there is no interaction between STAD cooperative learning model thorough guided inquiry method and experiment and scientific attitude toward student learning achievement at cognitive and psychomotor aspects.
